#DitoSaAquinas: AUL Christmas ID 2016 launched at annual ‘Paskuhan’

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Aquinas University kicks off the Christmas season with the annual AUL Paskuhan on Dec. 2, 2016, and premiered the new Christmas ID featuring the AUL official christmas song, ‘Magniningning Tayo Sa Diwa ng Pasko.’
The song, with a new arrangement by JP Lanuza, was refreshed with “electro synth-pop elements,” Karl Briguera, the production’s director and the president of Prodigi Creatives describes the 2016 rendition of the song first released in 2013.
“The new arrangement was our fresh take on the nostalgic Paskuhan song,” added Briguera.

Produced by the university-based student org for digital and multimedia arts, Prodigi Creatives, this year’s Paskuhan video re-emphasizes the message of Christmas in the song’s soaring bridge:
“Sa isip at damdamin tayo’y magkaisa, palaganapin ang pagmamahal sa isa’t-isa. Ito ang diwa ng Pasko, ang katuparan ng pangako ng Diyos sa mundo…”
Originally written by Aquinian songwriter duo, John Paul Lanuza and Patrick Estillomo, and performed and recorded by AUL Band, the song had kickstarted the tradition of this university-wide student production every AUL Paskuhan.
