The Aragon Association is the legal steward of the Aragon project. The goal of the Association has always been to make itself irrelevant, moving towards full decentralization.
But this process needs the utmost care. With great power comes great responsibility. Because of that, the board of the Aragon Association — composed by the co-founders — has decided to surround itself with an experienced board of advisors.
The newly formed advisory board includes Tim Draper, Brayton Williams and Stefano Bernardi.
Brayton Williams is the co-founder of BoostVC. Boost backed Aragon even before it was Aragon. Brayton has been always a supporter and advisor of the project since it was born in 2016.
Stefano Bernardi was the Executive Director of the Aragon Association until October 2019, when he decided to transition the role to Luis Cuende, co-founder of Aragon. As such, he has been an invaluable supporter.
We are also considering adding more members, especially people with a strong background on communities and grassroots movements.
On another note, we would like to thank the original advisors Jake Brukhman, Kenny Rowe and Mihai Alisie for their advice since the early days in 2017. They will remain valuable supporters and community members.
We are extremely excited by being surrounded by such a group of renowned people with a track record of supporting entrepreneurs building the future.
