According to Forbes, the first patent related to the technology used in Apple Vision Pro dates back to 2007, when the iPhone was introduced. In particular, it was a patent related to a head-mounted display, as Patently Apple reports: Using one or more optical and digital components, the personal display device may adjust displayed media to overlay features of a theater, stadium, or concert facility, thus giving the user of the individual display device the impression of being in the facility.
