Arazoo Collection #129: New at ICFF
This past week, I joined thousands of designers at the 30th annual ICFF here in NYC to check out the latest in global furniture and interior design. As we explored the expo floor, it was a challenge to narrow down our favorites from the 800+ exhibitors. We picked a few to share with you this week, including some beautiful wall and floor finishes, art-installation quality lighting, playful tubs and tables, and a gravity-defying chair.

The Zee Head Chair’s modern take on Gerrit Rietveld’s original design gives new life into this class Z chair form with sustainable materials. The chair’s innovative design is more than just aesthetic. The strong moso bamboo joints formed by the joinery process create a solid sitting experience while also allowing for a subtle spring that moves naturally with the sitter.
Cestita Batería is the latest member in the Cesta family: a portable, cordless version. As with all of Milá’s objects, Cestita, designed in 1962, strikes a balance between rational functionalism and the legacy of local artisan creation. With this new version, technology helps to enhance its features, maintaining the warmth that is characteristic of the family.
The MOVIMENTO Chandelier is composed of hand cut art glass panels, delicately hung on barely visible braided stainless steel line. The illusion of floating glass give the fixture a whimsical feel. The light source can be mounted in the canopy of the fixture or integrated into the hanging glass. This contemporary chandelier works well in residential, hospitality and commercial settings.
RS#Dining table is a special collaboration with award-winning chef José Andrés. It is a fusion of gastronomy and design. A whole new experience at the table. They have added a top glass to our classic RS#2 so now you can use it as a dining table. And you can keep playing with it.
OmniDecor is renowned for the exclusive look and the high quality of its decorated flat glass. Unique of its kind, our decorative acid etched glass originates from a selective industrial etching process in which great attention is paid to detail. Constant research and attention to style trends are our strong points.
The Rainbow tub is part of the Artisan Ceramics Collection which features compelling designs, most of which are available in several finishes, colors and patterns. It is a gloss acrylic tubs with white powder-coat metal frame and ceramic panels, integrated overflow and drain included.
Calico Wallpaper began with the inspiration to move art beyond the frame and incorporate its elements into everyday interior spaces. Through experimentation with the re-appropriation of traditional art forms, and the digital enlargement of unique, handmade patterns, the idea was born to create custom fit, non-repeating wall murals.
The seven products of the Stone Effect Porcelain Stoneware series, which bear the names of the places from which the reference stones come, will stimulate stylistic research by architects and designers: the bold grey of Kirby, Stromboli and Fowey matches perfectly with the beige shades of Comblanchien, Faro and Tozeur and the light grey of Versilia.
