Entertainment and performance spaces challenge designers to create comfortable and inviting destinations while satisfying demanding technical and engineering requirements. Multi-plexes , concert halls, and theaters need to attract and accommodate diverse audiences of all ages. While safety is a foremost design concern for these public assembly spaces, designers need to select materials and products that also satisfy very specific lighting, acoustic, and program demands, often in an environmentally responsible way.
