Project 3 — Organizational Strategies — in development for mid-review

Approach 1

My first approach focuses on nearby landmarks and how their locations can help orient and locate the program in my library.

By extending the lines and creating a grid. The building can have linear voids between the programmatic components while allowing them to have particular conditions and views on each floor.

Approach 2

My second approach’s main focus is the void space, which I create in the center of the building. By placing the circulation along the sides, the void can be extended throughout the building. Programmatic components are vertically separated to allow in the sunlight and natural ventilation.

Approach 3

This is a sketch model that I did from scratch by hand. Focusing on the orientation of the programmatic components in the site, material, openings and enclosures.
