In previous posts, we discussed the challenges with commercialization and the potential role of students in the translational development process to commercialize federal research laboratory technologies.

In 2016, ArchiTech is proud to partner with the Entrepreneurs Center (TEC) in Dayton, OH, on bringing Air Force technologies into the classrooms of Wright State University (WSU) and the University of Dayton (UD).

During the course, students will first get exposed to Air Force inventions, meet Air Force researchers, explore different commercial applications and learn about the commercialization process. In the latter part of the course, students will work in teams to construct business models, talk with customers and, potentially, pitch to investors.
