What do you do?

I am an architect, and engineering project manager, focused on bringing in sustainable building principles in AEC sector. Currently, I am developing a large-scale sustainable algae farm in a remote desert. I write about architecture(25%), sustainability(25%), ethics(10%), analytics(20%), and business (20%) built from my experiences in London.

How are you creating an impact in your niche?

I am working towards changing some of the AEC industry practices in material selection and design. I believe designers have real power in hand and must actively design out polluting materials from their projects. This is a challenge as there are very few alternative for some very polluting materials. To overcome this barrier, I am looking at other ways to reduce emissions in the overall project’s lifecycle such as Carbon Offsets.
