AIre-chain PoC development has started
After successfully deploying ARCS(ARX) on Ethereum and getting it listed on KuCoin, incubator of AIre project, IFA, has initiated proof-of-concept (PoC) of AIre blockchain infrastructure (AIre-chain). The PoC is being developed in collaboration with Stake Technologies and is scheduled to be finalized in Q2 2020. Sota Watanabe, CEO of Stake Technologies commented on this “We are excited to collaborate with IFA and develop a core infrastructure for data banking on Substrate. Our mission is to realize Web3.0, the next generation decentralized Web. This PoC can be one of the use cases of Web3.0 because users control their data and they have the rights to choose whether they can sell and buy the data. Through this PoC, we would like to find a way to make a fair and better data market.”
The purpose of the PoC is twofold 1) confirm requirements gathered during initial project development such as performance, security, privacy, availability, flexibility, and identity implementations 2) test if protocols can accommodate the requirements.
The initial PoC will be developed with Parity Substrate because of its flexibility and modular design. This is based on IFA and Stake Technologies research on selected protocols that can accommodate AIre-chain requirements.
Yoshinobu Shijo, CTO of IFA commented on this “We have been researching different protocols and blockchain infrastructures during our initial research such as sharding, side-chain, ZKP, MPC and lots of consensus algorithm for protocols, and Ethereum, IOTA, Substrate and Cosmos for blockchain infrastructures… We found Parity Substrate suitable for our requirements because it has a modular design and we can try multiple protocol stacks by simply replacing modules. I believe we can find the best-suitable protocol stack for our data bank use cases”
A detailed road map for blockchain infrastructure and products is under development.
