I’m The Aborted Baby Who Would Have Cured Cancer.

Hi! It’s me—I’m the baby who would have cured cancer. But I was aborted!

Well, actually, it wouldn’t have been just me. I would have been on a team of qualified people who were all striving toward the same goal. I would have been part of a complicated network of doctors and scientists and study participants who were all taking risks to help humanity. So I can’t take all the credit.

But let’s see what the timeline would have been!

First, I would have been born to teen parents who super were not ready to have me. My mom would have dropped out of college. My dad would be around when he wanted to be, but he would constantly complain about how he was too young to be a dad.

You know, he would complain about his lost potential, too! He would say that maybe HE could cure cancer, if he didn’t have to pay child support!

Once I got to public school, things were a little easier. Mom could work regular hours. When I was a baby, sometimes she would leave me at these cheap neighborhood daycare places where an old lady would give me cold medicine so I would fall asleep. Yikes!

School was really hard for me. I was gifted, but I also had trouble making friends. My mom didn’t want me to be “labeled”, so I was never…
