I will take my husband who is 53 years young. He’s an amazing guy but when it comes to some things, he’s still a boy at heart.
He’s always up for a game of catch in the backyard or a race around the block. He’s always ready to tell a joke, even if no one is laughing.
And he’s always quick to offer a shoulder to cry on, even though he may not have a clue what to say. In many ways, he’s like a big kid himself. And that’s what makes my life interesting and fun.
He may not always act like it, but he knows how to make me laugh when I’m feeling down. He knows how to make me feel loved and cherished.
And he knows how to make our life together an adventure. The adventure makes me roll my eyes and laugh-crying so hard that my eyebrows hurt.
