It’s devastating, people have either left their tents with nowhere to hide, or remained standing up the whole night inside of them.
The storm is to peak today, and there is no way to fix the tents now. We are trying to rent a place to move the families into it and provide those who are already in collective shelters with blankets and heat as soon as possible.

In practice, refugees still have no secure and effective access to shelter, food, the labour market and health care including mental health care. International protection status in Greece cannot guarantee a dignified life for beneficiaries of protection and is no more than protection “on paper”.
