Last June DAZN announced their partnership with Bellator MMA and Matchroom Boxing. CEO James Rushton said they would be,” a must-have for fight fans in the U.S.” Keeping with that idea, today it was announced that Combate Americas would also be partnering with DAZN beginning with tomorrow night’s Levy Marroquin vs. Jose “Pochito” Alday Championship bout live from Phoenix, Arizona.

The price plan was announced in July with a list of boxing and MMA fights for fans to look forward to. Fans can sign up for DAZN for only $9.99 per month by registering at DAZN.com or by downloading the DAZN app on a wide range of connected devices, including smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, tablets, and game consoles.

We are thrilled to be in partnership with an innovative and global entertainment leader like DAZN, and to be able to showcase the fast-paced, aggressive and in-your-face style of fighting that Combate Americas offers and that, 25 years after I launched the UFC, has re-defined MMA as ‘Mucha Mas Accion.

— Combate Americas CEO Campbell McLaren

A representative of Combate Americas told Frontproof Media that the DAZN partnership was for the U.S. and Canadian broadcasts for English language rights and that Univision will still be their partner for the Spanish language rights in the U.S. Gilbert Melendez and Julianna Peña will be doing the commentary for the events on the streaming platform along with Max Bretos.

Adding Combat Americas along with Bellator MMA, Matchroom Boxing, and the World Boxing Super Series now puts the list of fight nights on DAZN at more than 80 per year. That is a lot of combat sports content in a short amount of time since their launch.
