PFL Finals to Close Out the 2018 Season in NYC

The Professional Fighters League will finish the 2018 season off right where they began in New York City at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater. The last of the semi-finals, PFL 10 airs this Saturday from Washington D.C. and once the event it is over, the remaining 12 fighters who have fought their way to the $1-million dollar prize for their weight class.

PFL President of Fighting Operations Ray Sefo said, “This is what everyone has been competing for and I can’t wait to wrap those six championship belts around the winner’s waists and hand them their $1 million checks.”

Beginning last June with PFL 1, the promotion’s format has shown the drive they give fighters to fight, finish, and win to move closer to what they have been working towards. Well known fighter, as well as up and coming fighters, have fought their way to the finals to not only win prize money but build their brand in MMA. The formula has proven that it works with new investors jumping on board what the PFL has brought to MMA a 2019 season will be something MMA fans will be looking forward to.

Kayla Harrison has been added to the final PFL event of 2018 and with a division for her to fight in for 2019, she will likely look to pick up another win on New Year’s Eve. She has fought and won her first two fights in MMA coming from Judo with her most recent win against Jozette Cotton at PFL 6 in Atlantic City, New Jersey last August. Harrison’s fight will be added to the six title fights planned for New Year’s Eve.
