Decoding the Need for Change
The modification in ARI10’s staking model emanates from three pivotal motives:

Explanation using the Sapphire tier as an example:
When you choose to stake your ARI10 tokens in the Sapphire tier, you commit to locking them for a period of 90 days. In return, you receive a 2% APR and other specified benefits. If you decide to release your tokens before the 90-day lock period expires, a fee will apply. This fee ranges from 10% to 5%, with the fee decreasing the closer you are to the end of the 90-day period.
After the 90-day lock period has ended, you have two options for releasing your ARI10: you can either immediately release them and incur a 2% fee, or you can wait an additional 5 days — referred to as the “unbonding time” — and withdraw your tokens without incurring any fee. Beyond the 90-day period, you have the flexibility to continue staking your tokens in the same tier or explore other tiers available within the Ari10 Token Panel.
