Laragon setup series Part 2 “update PHP to 7.4 or any future version on laragon”.

We will divide the process into 3 steps.

Download PHP 7.4

If you are using laragon you need a php version for windows, to access to php for windows downloads you can go to the address: https://windows.php.net/download/

There we are going to download a zip file.

Add PHP 7.4 to laragon\bin\php path

first copy the zip file to “C:\laragon\bin\php” then extract to folder name there, to look like the image.

Change PHP version on Laragon

Click on menu/PHP/version then switch to PHP 7.4 folder
