Vlog Schedule
If you are wondering how often these vlogs will come out, they will be released as adventures happen. Because of this, they will be more spaced out than a standard vlog that may have a new episode every day or every week. However, you are welcome to subscribe to The ARK Crypto Podcast, hosted by me, which has new episodes out every Friday! Get vlog reminders and notifications by subscribing at Youtube.ARK.io.
Activities
This episode covers the team’s visit to Utrecht, Netherlands for a Leadership Summit, where team members and project leads convene to solidify the development strategy for ARK over the next six months. We also were able to hear from two special guests who joined us, including a new bridgechain project working with ARK Core.
Roadmap Discussion
The team discussed the direction our existing projects and products are heading, namely, Core 2.6 and 3, and how they will affect our peripherals. We talked about new transaction types like Multi-Payment and Hashed Time Lock Contracts, as well as Multisig and Core Dashboard GUI (I’m very excited for that one). We discussed the desktop and mobile wallets, explorer, and some surprises you will be hearing about soon.

Introduction and Presentation by nOS
On the trip, we were able to hear from a special guest and brand-new official Powered by ARK Partner. We heard a special presentation by Dean Van Dugteren, Founder and CEO of nOS, the virtual operating system for the Smart Economy. The nOS team was very attracted to ARK technology, largely due to how easy it is to work with as well as its extensibility. nOS was also very pleased to learn that their solutions would be deployed on a standalone interoperable blockchain. I was also able to interview Dean for the podcast.
Enterprise Concepts Presentation by Will Rice
We were also able to hear from another special guest, Will Rice, who gave a great presentation designed to place ARK in the spotlight for enterprise business applications. ARK’s technology and vision allow enterprises to gain from using our tech and customize it to their needs. We recently launched a brand new website at ARK.io for users and developers, but the enterprise audience comes with their own needs and challenges. They will be catered to with a unique voice, look, and feel. I’m excited to see how our enterprise strategy progresses.
