ARK is currently focused like a laser on all aspects of development. Recently, we released a new version of ARK-desktop that supports multiple ARKchains. Many projects are already interested in using ARK codebase, and now we are happy to present updated lite-client libraries (JavARK, ARK-client, ARK-JS) that fully support multiple ARK networks. Projects that decide to develop on ARK codebase will leverage client libraries (for Java, JavaScript, CLI, .NET or Python) removing the need to develop their own. This is one step closer to the vision of SmartBridge where networks will be able to interoperate.

Tools developed by other ARKchains will integrate seamlessly throughout the entire ARK universe. With our rapidly growing developer community, we soon expect the release of many new tools to interact with ARKchains!

Currently, there are already 2 projects that will utilize the power of ARK code and blockchain which will be compatible with our SmartBridge function out of the box:

Also, several private blockchains are now being developed using ARK codebase.

What does this mean?

ARK will be the foundation for easy to deploy blockchains with simple to follow instructions and videos. The ARK ecosystem of connected blockchains will continue to grow and communicate with each other with ARK as the primary intermediary connecting them all. Now not only is the ARK core and desktop wallet able to support multiple blockchains, but developers can now freely use their favorite programming language(ie: Java, Python, .NET) which now also support multiple blockchains.

Stay tuned for the next wallet update to include a very cool new feature that will tie into the future of IPFS integration.
