A3MP Mod and Linux Server Compatibility
One little caveat is that the A3MP mod is not immediately compatible with the Linux dedicated server due to the case-sensitivity of file paths. The server apparently expects all of the A3MP PBO file names to be all lowercase, so all files in the @a3mp/addons/ folder must be renamed.
The bash commands I used to accomplish this:
$ cd <a3mp folder> $ rename 'y/A-Z/a-z' *
If you do not do this, you will most likely receive an error on startup in your server output/logs; it will be something to the effect of “Unable to find a3mp_utils7.pbo”. You can look in your @a3mp/addons/ folder and see A3MP_Utils7.pbo clearly exists, but to the Linux shell, that’s not the same file as a3mp_utils7.pbo. Just rename everything in the @a3mp/addons/ folder to lowercase, restart the server, and you should be good to go.
This exact same fix is required for the ALiVE mod (which is ridiculously impressive), and probably many, many others.
