Following the 2019 Lunar New Year, Armada Chain, focused on empowering supply chain collaboration, has expanded to Hong Kong as part of the Helix Accelerator. The move was a strategic opportunity to gain footing in Southeast Asia, as Hong Kong is the seventh largest trading entity, while working closely with Hedera Hashgraph and investment firm Mind Fund.

Serving as a nexus for trade in Asia, Hong Kong is home to a multitude of commerce companies, all part of the global supply chain ecosystem. The globalization of supply chain has introduced a wide ecosystem of infrastructure and horizontal partnerships, which emphasizes the importance of collaboration to guarantee efficacy. However, the disparity of communication and workflows amongst partners proves difficult for supply chain collaboration. By bringing an innovative collaboration paradigm shift, Armada Chain brings interoperability to supply chain data, modernizing the partnership workflow. Armada Chain is currently exploring POC opportunities with Hong Kong logistics companies.

The Armada platform streamlines collaboration between supply chain partners by providing interoperability between workflows and data through its communication hub. This allows seamless and focused communication between companies, without disrupting existing workflows. Shared data opens up automated processes that span multiple companies, and leads to efficient, transparent and trusted partnerships.

The Helix Accelerator is a joint initiative by Hong Kong-based VC Mind Fund and Hedera Hashgraph to foster companies building on Hashgraph technology. The program brings twelve startups from around the globe to Hong Kong to prepare for an investor Demo Day in mid-April.
