The audacity of Boston to think the world revolves around them (the World currently revolves around the Golden State Warriors, d’uh) is mind-boggling. Just after this video went up, someone in the Boston press decided that Jayson Tatum is en-route to a Hall of Fame based off his first half a season in the NBA and that he is having a better rookie season than Steph Curry. Circumstance be damned.

The city of Boston is generally, and undeniably, houses some of the most insufferable fandom in all of sports. It’s perplexing to me how so many alternative opinions can coexist just to fit the whatever narrative they are trying to push on that day. Boston needs to be hated? All of their players are suddenly underrated by everyone and everyone and are actually better than they think. Boston is the underdog and Brad Stevens is a magician? All of the players are much worse and they’re actually just mediocre, but Stevens has them overachieving.

Don’t be surprised if the same city comes out defending Tatum should he hit the second half slump as a rookie due to an increased workload and tougher schedule. After all, Jaylen Brown is already a NBA All-Star. Anyway, here’s the NBA Monday Report:
