Founded in Braga and incubated at Startup Braga, Automaise has raised €500,000 in a pre-seed round by Armilar in co-investment with our friends at Bright Pixel. This startup tackles an opportunity of exponential growth through its creative solution for process automation: an innovative low-code artificial intelligence platform for building intelligent enterprise-grade automations.

Automaise was founded in 2017 by two very experienced entrepreneurs: Ernesto Pedrosa and Carlos Oliveira, both experienced at launching, developing and exiting software startups.

Being industry-agnostic, but with an initial focus on Banking, Insurance, Retail and Telecoms, Automaise’s technology allows companies to easily create and train virtual assistants that will boost their productivity by automating a wide range of tasks — from social customer support (such as dealing with the inflow of unstructured customer interaction channels) to complex business transactions (such as account management, tracking and changing orders, ticketing, and many others).

Continente online, CTT and Altice are a few of Automaise’s early clients. With this investment, Automaise intends to further recruit experts in artificial intelligence, software development and marketing to reinforce their 12-strong team in product and business development roles, expanding the technology into the global market, starting in Europe and followed by the United States.

It is the second investment made through Armilar’s Technology Transfer fund, following the fund’s investment in Vawlt Technologies.
