It’s been a while since the last time we published anything here. Many things have changed, one of the important mentions would be that we changed the project’s name: Annihilat.IO has now become Array.IO. Our team is constantly growing too, today we have over 20 team members.

In spite of the changes, and us being M.I.A. on Medium, the work never stopped. As a reminder to our previous readers and a quick run through for the new ones:

Array.IO is building a decentralized environment in which developers can develop, run, maintain, and feature their DApps on Array.IO marketplace.

We came far along with the technological side of the project. We run our own blockchain with DPoS consensus which provides rapid transactions verification meeting the present business requirements. Our Solidity compatible virtual machine is complete. We are very close to launching our Testnet. We hope to see it up and running in Q4 2018.

We became more social too. You’ll be able to see our team’s deeds on our Instagram page. Our knowledge base is expanding with tech documentation, tutorials and guides and will soon be made available for you. Twitter is here too, as well as our Telegram channel.

Just to make you a little bit jealous, we want to share our office pic:

“Code is in the air….”

We’ve been thinking what would be the first thing we want to tell you about, and to follow some logic, we’d like to start with our new financing model. It takes an ICO, puts it in a washing machine, washes away the dirt, the lipstick stain on the ICO collar (if you know what I mean), centrifuges all the unnecessary risk of blind trust, and finally gives you back the funding model you can actually trust.

As most of other blockchain projects, we have started with the seed funding from our initial investor. We never had the intention of funding Array.IO with an ICO. Instead, we developed a financing model called Initial Development Offering (IDO) which completely eliminates the uncertainty and high probability of being scammed while funding a project. Read our next story which conceptualizes IDO and gives a thorough explanation of the whole process. Array.IO will be first project ever funded this way and we are certain it won’t be the last.

Cheers!
