We’ve been using the Sketch App (sketchapp.com) for a couple of days now, and I am very impressed with how easy and nimble it is. It’s rare for a piece of software to be both useful and intuitive. This is especially true of drawing and image editing programs.

Flat Icon Replication

I’ve used programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw and AutoCAD, and while they’re powerful, they’re also difficult to use without lots of experience, and some of them are just downright awkward (I’m looking at you, Illustrator).

After just a couple of HOURS on Sketch we were able to recreate some stock icons from flaticon.com. The drawing tools are simple and effective and allowed us to produce polished results pretty quickly.
