Arriba X in Singapore on Sep 13 2023, a pitch contest for Web3 with the theme “Find a Web3 project with Japan as its theme that will be globally recognized”

Arriba X in Singapore, the largest web3 event in Asia, and the third annual Web3Meeting (W3M), a side event of Token2049 Singapore.

Arriba Studio Pte. Ltd., a Singapore and Tokyo-based Web3/NFT entrepreneurship accelerator, is pleased to announce “Arriba X in Singapore” (hereafter Arriba X), an event themed “Finding Global Web3 Projects with Japan as the Theme”. Arriba X in Singapore” (Arriba X) will be held on September 13th. Arriba X in Singapore will be held on September 13th, and we are now accepting applications for projects to pitch at Arriba X.

Since its inception in February 2022, Arriba has supported the founding and growth of numerous Web3 startups, and although the downturn in the crypto asset market has made it difficult to forecast the future of the Web3 space, there are a number of promising projects springing up around the world. With investments spread across the globe, each project is moving forward in its business stage, and we need to increase our fundraising activities and presence in Japan and overseas.

In addition, in 2023, “Japan” will be a focus of attention throughout the year in the three areas of the Web. This is due to the following reasons: (1) Japanese regulators are opening up Web3, (2) Japanese and Japanese-affiliated companies are making advanced efforts in the game field, which is expected to be the next generation of killer content for Web3, (3) major telecommunication carriers and other players with a huge customer base are entering the Web3 field and making huge investments, and (4) the Japanese government is planning to open up the Web3 industry. (2) The Japanese and Japanese-affiliated companies in the game industry are making advanced efforts in the game industry.

This event will highlight Web3 projects from all over the world and global projects originating from Japan, and will be held as a pitch contest inviting various judges such as cryptoVCs who are active overseas. The timing of the event is scheduled to coincide with Token2049 Singapore, which will be held on September in Singapore and is expected to attract visitors from all over the world.

In addition, this pitch event will have a different orientation from the previous year’s Pitch Contest (*1), with a more diverse panel of judges and a different structure from other pitch events. We will also be starting a new trial in which the judges will be given “one recommendation per company” to make it easier to attract projects to enter the competition. We hope that startups who wish to enter the competition will take advantage of this.

Furthermore, on the same night, we will hold the 3rd Japanese Meetup “W3M” for Web3 in Singapore, which has been held several times in 2023, and aim to make it a place where you can meet a variety of people and disseminate information about your project.
