Surrealism Gets Another Chance

Some of the questions I’ve asked myself as a writer in Arts (toward surrealism especially) is “will the classical form survive the digital?” A legitimate question I think since the Virtual Artist is emerging as an accepted Art form now (Art Prize allows digital submissions under certain guidelines.)

Lenora Hill is bending the public eye toward her work with the traditional, and forcing us to pull out cash and spend for it.

She’s strictly non-digital. Hold breathe: and pulling it off (like in a Picasso way pulling it off.)

Leni Hill is a Modern American Surrealist from Tyler, Texas. First experimenting heavily with acrylic paint and other mediums before arriving at her current process, which produces dreamscape sometimes macabre caricatures that mimic the early work of Dali while also submitting staged photographs reminiscent of Marcel Duchamp.
