Social Media Campaign — Heineken

Twitter campaign in Italy from Publicis Milan.

Heineken is known for it’s twitter experiments but this print leading to twitter is smart because it uses the event Champions League Final in Milan 2016 to its advantage.

The long hashtag is 100 characters = most allowed on twitter anyway. So if fans were to tweet this, it just adds numbers for others to share their own brand message.

The campaign is called “The Final Hashtag.” But as the agency says, it’s a decently memorable way for the brand to “quickly talk about its credentials while reinforcing its image as the main sponsor of the UEFA Champions League.”
