With thousands of business podcasts to choose from, and new ones being launched every day, narrowing down what to listen to can be a challenge. Whether you’re looking for something broad or very specific, chances are there’s a podcast that speaks to your interests. Here are seven of the absolute best business podcasts, each with its own target audience. Some aim to keep you informed on the latest happenings, while others focus on in-depth reporting and unusual business ideas to offer inspiration.

1. Bloomberg Benchmark

This weekly podcast examines the inner workings of the global economy. They dive deep into issues and offer expert commentary while examining each topic. The show recently covered economic indicators to follow in order to answer the question, “Has Trump made America great again?” The issues are important, and the insight is excellent.

2. Marketplace with Kai Ryssdal

If you want to stay up to date on the market, Marketplace is the podcast for you. New episodes come out at the end of the day, so you can stay informed in the morning hours or on your commute into the office. Kai Ryssdal is the perfect host — easy to listen to, informed and entertaining. The show covers the previous day’s big news, movers, and shakers.

3. Masters in Business

There are plenty of interview-style podcasts, but none that cover the business world quite as well as Masters in Business. Bloomberg view columnist Barry Ritholtz speaks to the leaders who shape markets, investing and business in this weekly production.

4. Motley Fool Money

Motley Fool Money airs on the radio in major cities across America, but they also present the show in podcast format in case you don’t live in a big market. Similar to Marketplace, it’s a great show for staying up to date on the market, but in contrast, it airs weekly. It features Motley Fool analysts discussing the week’s top stories, interviews, and stocks to watch.

5. Planet Money

Produced by NPR in association with Chicago Public Media, Planet Money isn’t just one of the best business podcasts — it’s one of the best podcasts in general. Anyone will love listening to their interesting, in-depth spotlights. They look at issues that you wouldn’t normally come across in a business podcast. The team produces two, roughly fifteen-minute podcast episodes every week.

6. Slate Money

Slate Money does a great job of combining fun information with interesting topics. The show covers plenty of numbers and money related topics and constantly brings back their stories to real people’s lives and the effects of their topics on society. The cause and effect of economic policy is really weighed on Slate Money.

7. Side Hustle School

Hosted by the author of The $100 Startup, Chris Guillebeau, Side Hustle School is a new podcast that highlights one person’s successful side hustle every day. The format is short and sweet — most episodes are under 10 minutes long — but they’re action packed. Chris tells the side hustle stories quickly, going through the inspiration, implementation, and execution of all kinds of side businesses. He covers everything from a man who makes thousands of dollars by writing online reviews of fish tanks to a woman who turned a cookbook into big money. It’s a great place to find inspiration.
