Birds of Feather
Piece 16 of the “33” illustrated art storybook by Meg Konovska
This is piece No 16 of the “33” watercolour series by Meg Konovska (*khu-khum*, that would be… ME!).
The series consists of 33 paintings, 33 x 33 cm each. They are all created in the following manner:
• Randomly make 33 dots on the blank sheet, with eyes closed
• Connect the dots in a complete contour, without intersecting lines
• The resulting silhouette is developed in a sketch which is completed in colour.
To top it off, each painting is accompanied by an explanation for the unsuspecting observer to consider.

Birds of Feather (available)
This eccentric lady is Camilla Barbossa — a fashion designer and a top photo model from Rio. She is a far descendant to Yzma from Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove and a second grand niece to Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians. By her side you can see her source of inspiration for a number of her designs — a pet toucan adopted by her still as a baby.
Similarly to her renowned predecessors, Camilla also feels attracted to fashion. However, unlike her famous grandaunt Cruella (who is addicted to furs), she is addicted to bird feathers.
Here Camilla Barbossa is showcasing her new dress with extravagant detailing imitating a magnificent bird’s tail.
Camilla is also a devoted believer a perfect body needs to be as light as a feather. She has acquired her outstanding shape thanks to a revolutionary 90-day diet based entirely on water and photosynthesis as sources of nutrition. As a food supplement, she intakes 200 ml (1 cup) of vinegar with each meal. Vinegar acid eats into bone structure and thus facilitates for even more effective weight loss by reducing bone density.
Camilla’s disdainful and self-confident glance is aimed towards an obese 54-kilo (119 lbs) 174-cm (5'8") model known by the name of Alessandra Ambrosio (unknowingly why chosen for a Victoria’s Secret model).
* Alessandra Ambrosio — an elite photo model, a favourite of fashion giant Victoria’s Secret.
