The lead weights that have nested in my finger tips
create a crawling pace.

I want this to be over.
Doneness is akin to perfection.

So I am overdone, charred to coal.
Resilience flakes off caught up in the rising pyre.

My belly impregnated by grit and detritus.
I am prone on the burning floor.

Waiting for the heat of failure
to blow away with its defeated ashes.
