Editing audio is weird. Can you guess what’s happening in this file?

Me neither.

To know what’s happening you have to play the file. It’s not like video editing where you have visual cues.

You can guess what’s happening here much more easily. But it still requires some playback to orient yourself.

Now imagine a world… a world without hours wasted on playback.

And now imagine a blog post that was pitching that world.

BOOM!

Ramon Recuero and I made a thing called SpeechBoard that will transcribe your podcasts and allow you to cut anything from the audio by deleting the text from the transcript.

Try it out here.

You can import your cuts into Adobe Audition or Audacity to fine-tune the edit. That looks like this:
