Perspective Wars: An Instagram Photo Challenge

In an experiment to explore photography, I’m collaborating on an Instagram account called @PerspectiveWars with one of my all-time favorite photographers, Evy Wilkins. Every week we pick a subject to photograph and compete to see who’s perspective is more liked on Instagram. To level the playing field, we both post from the same account at the same time.

Every month we’ll share the previous month’s challenge results in the form of a blog post. This is our first of hopefully many results posts!

Tahoe Tree

Evy clearly won this challenge. Her photo looks so relaxing and elegant. Mine is like being swallowed by a black hole. Definitely one of our most contrasting perspectives yet.
