Save Time on Social Media by Planning on the Weekends.
People all over the world are looking for ways to publish enough content on a daily basis but start to create content one hour before publishing it.
This makes creating content much more stressing and less fun to do since you are strapped of time and are looking for something to make that provides value.
This is a matter everyone could solve if they took some time from their weekends in order to organize their content for the week to come.
Sometimes people make things harder than it is by waiting until the last moment to create.
There are some exceptions to this since some people are better at making content under pressure rather than making it all in a day. Most of the people I know that do this is by using their daily experience as content for their different social media outlets.
For those who can’t do that sort of stuff or for those who have a corporate job which is not about what you want to talk about in social media then this is a good idea you could implement on a week to week basis.
Social Media Management Tool
There are lots of different ones here and there but 2 tend to stand out from the rest which are:
- Hootsuite which is the biggest social media management tool there is with a large amount of compatible platforms as well as with an integrated analytics metric for some of your platforms.
- Buffer is the same as Hootsuite but with a smaller and more minimalist approach to it making it ideal for personal brands or people who don’t want all of the statistics that hootsuite comes up with.
Both of them are a great choice when it comes to scheduling content for the week and makes posting a breeze but I like to use Buffer more rather the Hootsuite for its simplistic approach.
Take a Day to Create Content
Go out and take 100 pictures in different places and try to make them work for your brand. Edit them and get them ready to schedule them on Hootsuite/Buffer.
If you are a writer then you could create articles and cut snippets or quotes from it and post it!
The options to create content are endless you just have to be creative! :)
The more you do this the easier it becomes and making content starts to become simple.
You should make content on week days too since it gives you more room to work with.
Know Your Hashtags.
A mistake most people have is that they simply put some random hashtags on their posts and call it a day. DON’T DO THIS.
Unless you don’t care what your audience is, you shouldn’t be putting any hashtag without researching a bit and seeing what posts ar in there.
Using a hashtag finder is a great way to put some hashtags in your posts but you have to read them and see if all of them are a good fit for your brand and niche.
For example if you want to get into the music industry, specifically in the rap game then you don’t want to see #heavymetal in there because it’s useless and people will let you know that it isn’t metal.
Take some time and see which hashtags work for you, you don’t have to rush it at all.
Take the Time to Respond to People
This is more of a bonus tip since you will have to do this all week long but it is an important thing to consider i you want your following to grow in an organic fashion.
If somebody sends you a message or comments, you have to respond.
This doesn’t mean that as soon as the notification sound goes off you have to do it, it means that you should do it at some point throughout the day and try to respond to as many messages and comments as you can.
This will build a connection rather than a follower because it will be a two way connection rather than just you posting.
These are the basics when it comes to creating content when you don’t have time to do it from Monday to Friday. (We all know you could do it from Monday to Friday too, but let’s keep it a secret)
If you liked the article then I would love if you gave it some claps!
Much love to every single one of you!
