An actual photo of my work history in January

Stage 1: Denial 😉

“Okay, so I don’t have anything going on today…big deal. By the end of the week, work will be rollin’ in…just you watch…”

Stage 2: Anger 🤬

“Why do people say they’re interested in working together and then GHOST YOU?! I’M NOT TINDER! I HATE EVERYONE!!!!!”

Stage 3: Bargaining 😬

“Universe, I need clients. Do you hear me?! I will you to send emails to my inbox! Tomorrow, I will wake up with emails. Emails. Emails. Emails. If I just keep saying it over and over again, surely, it will happen….right?…RIGHT?!”

Stage 4: Depression 😭

“I’m worthless. No wonder no one wants to work with me. I’m a failure. I’m washed up. A has-been! Guess I’d better listen to my boyfriend and go get a real job…”

Stage 5: Acceptance 😳

“OK enough of this shit. I’m not making money, the universe doesn’t care about me, and I’m a sad sack of shit. It’s time to make some changes around here!”

::orders business cards::

Stage 6: Redemption 🤩

“Wait…she…she…she said YES?! She wants a proposal?! Well, by golly, a proposal is what she’ll get! It’s official, I’m back, ladies and gents…

…and I never worried for a minute! 🤥
