This isn’t the best written article but I promise you that’ll you learn a lot and have a new beneficial perspective when on social media use and it’s effectiveness for your brand when used correctly!

1. Stop buying fake followers

Fake followers don’t interact with you instead of spending $20-$50 on fake followers why not spend that money on ads and possibly reach an audience that’ll actually interact you and possibly become fans and that leads me to the second recommendation.

2. Running Ads

Believe it or not running ads is an easy and sometimes cheap way to get ahead of competition and even reach out possible consumers every producer and artists’ need to be running ads in hopes to reach their target audience and that audience which are possible consumers who are interested in buying things similar to what you offering whether it be music or beats.

3. Make sure that you have High-Quality content.

What I mean by this is such a broad that I can literally write about this topic for at least three days or more but let’s keep it simple! IMAGE IS EVERYTHING! first and foremost make sure you have a social media banner that aligns with your profile picture and is consistent among all your social media channels same with your profile photo an HQ photo if you don’t have one use your logo.

Your bio should be short and simple not too short unless half of the world knows who you are so many artists are following a trend of short bios but how could you attract a possible fan (possible consumer) if they don’t what makes you important even to follow.

If you are a producer add that in your bio even add a few notable credits too if you’d like if you are an artist put that in your bio and you can add what you hope to do with your music.

people love to connect and relate they can’t relate to someone who has an empty bio or a feed full of music links and nothing else of the artists’ life that they can possibly connect too.

4. Stop acting Hollywood!

You’re not famous yet so stop acting like engage with your audience you’re nothing without them if they mention you on Twitter it won’t kill you to re-tweet or like the tweet.

Their birthday is coming up a simple “Happy birthday” can not only make their day but make them want to explore your social media channels a bit more.

A follow will do the same, yes I know sometimes it may seem cool to have 3k followers and you’re not following them but sometimes all it takes is a simple follow to bring someone to your profile a possibly find a link to your website and become a fan.

5. If you want followers you need to be follow-able

This is simple although it may sound a bit confusing if you want someone to follow you need to catch and keep their attention.

If someone follows you because you’re one of the best vets in Florida they can care less about your partner breaking up with you. Post content that your audience will most likely be interested in and they will be more likely to interact with you.

These rules are social media must follows’ and they are what will help you turn a follower into a fan! — Tweet this
