Today, we are thrilled to announce the full consumer launch of Modsy, where we are on a mission to completely transform the way we shop for and design our homes. It is not enough to sell furniture online or make interior design more affordable — it’s time for a true technology-based transformation. Why rely on your imagination? At Modsy, we not only show you what is possible but lead you to the point where you can almost feel the new furniture your home.
How it works
Getting started with Modsy only takes a few quick minutes and your home will thank you!
- Create your style profile — take the Modsy Style Quiz, fill in your project details, and select products that you love from our interactive Moodboard.
- Take a few photos of your room — nothing special required, just a handful of photos (furniture, mess, and people included).
- Receive your photorealistic Modsy designs — flip through your Modsy studio, a shoppable catalog of design ideas staged in your very own home!
- Iterate until you find the products you love! Using our unlimited Replace feature you can swap products until you find the perfect piece. Your studio is yours to keep, you can come back anytime to try on new ideas.

A major milestone and the starting line
This release is just the beginning. We are very proud to be launching Modsy today! It is a major milestone for our company and team. We also look at the launch as our starting line. We still have so much in the pipeline and cannot wait to continue this momentum!
The past 10 months during the beta have been an incredible journey. We have worked tirelessly, constantly testing with customers, pushing the limits on the product capabilities, expanding our incredible team, and learning just how much more there is that we can do to improve.
At each step we’ve seen a little glimmer of the magic that Modsy can create. We’ve seen the “wow” on someone’s face when he realizes that the image he sees is not a photograph. We’ve heard pure joy from a customer discovering a product she absolutely loves. And most important, we’ve seen customer after customer transform their space into a place they are proud to call home.
