On a daily basis we meet new people, we buy or have new stuffs, we make memories, experience new feelings, time, knowledge. All of these have to last at some point and begin with new, This includes even your own body. Isn’t it? and you were expecting others to be permanent.

You must have memories of your childhood when you started writing with a pen, wore a suit for the time, your friends from the elementary schools, your best friend of that time. You just recalled his/her name or you are still thinking who was it? If it is the latter don’t worry it have to happen because we just can’t change the nature of the world. which says everything which is created needs to be destroyed. Some cool engineers and science fellows must be thinking of energy. So if it is changing its form then the original one doesn’t exists so its temporary too.

Many of us have lost our dear one’s who once promised to be with us forever, its sometimes funny and sad, By lost I mean the ones who are dead and who left us for a reason or may be for no reason but believe me it is something that you just can’t control, So why fear about it.

Actually I believe the biggest mistake that we do is to believe that a thing or person will be with us till our last step of life. That is rarely going to happen my friend and even if it did happen, may be you are being too selfish. I am still in my 20’s and already realised it, they are going to promise you to be with you forever or sometimes it us who expect them to with us forever. The whole key is that just live your present, don’t worry about the future, Its human nature that it wants to play safe and be lazy. I know many of my friends for whom I have done too many things with some level of expectation and 99% I regret them later, not those things that I’ve done but those expectations and feeling of being together and permanent. Or in very simple words

How can a person guarantee to be with you forever when he/her doesn’t know himself/herself how long he/she going to last.

Personal life is not the only important thing that we should not accept to be permanent. Being temporary is equally applicable on other dimensions of life that includes your professional life.

You shouldn’t be surprised over resignation or firing.

whether you are a boss or an employee and no matter how cool promises the person on the other end made up with you, The only fact is that until you both are satisfying each other in more than 6 parameters out of 10 you can be together for a certain period of time, because again there are external parameters as well that can led to firing of employee or resignation to boss. So even if you think you are made for the employee or boss you can’t be forever.

And last but not the least the materialistic thing around you usually end before you expect them to be. The most loved example is salary. You just can’t hold over those no matter how much you love them and want them to be with you always just like your favourite dress, Most of the times that is one which got torn, ate food or drink. This happens isn’t it? Well No, its the fact that you want it to be with you for the longer time, and you care about it more than others and hence you notice even small things about it. It might be strange but this is actually what happens most of the times.

Often we want our loved things to be with us forever and when they leave, we are usually surprised and may be hurt as well? Why do we feel like that? Why didn’t we expect that to happen? and We come up with a phrase that we didn’t expect that this can happen. I remember a road sign from my trip to Spiti Valley (One of the most dangerous roads of the world)

It defines everything, Its not only true to that road but for life as well, At the end of the day our life is more like a road trip only where we leave behind the places, people and material things and we can’t continue ahead until we know that we have to leave the other behind and move on. None of them stays with us forever, And sometimes many don’t last till the end. But probably they might have enjoyed the trip until their last point.

It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t value the people and things around us. But as I said “Always expect the unexpected” and “Everything is temporary”
