A poem of life

Rising growth brings new sights
While stumbling control adds frustration
New strengths pull it back up again
Followed by discipline toppling back down

Milestones mark new freedoms, rising higher
Brought crashing down by growing responsibility
Exploration and curiosity climbing back up
Loss and rejection crumbling decline

Finding love, soaring like angels
Failing love, crashing to the ground
Cautiously lifting again with a new love
With dips and falls as it grows

Excitement, life, and wonder higher
Followed by grief and tears winding down
Life’s moments pulling upwards
Life’s moments pulling downwards

Memories, life, ever higher
Finality, death always lower
The next generation starting higher
Hope the world doesn’t bring them lower

Thank you for reading my poem. I am looking to improve and would welcome any feedback or recommendations!

May your days be full of lifting wonderment.
