Art is changing. An old collection of rare pepe started it all. Now art enters a new terrain and new artists enter the art world. The rules of the game change, you better be prepared.

I was recently talking by video chat with a friend who is in London, he is an economist like me, and he told me that digital works were being auctioned and reaching large numbers. At first I did not believe him, so I investigated and found the revolution that NFT art is being.

The first collection of which there is certainty, made on the internet and based on icons born from the internet, is the rare pepe’s echa. That green frog that is in many memes. This, we can say, is the face of the new art. The crypto art is made using the blockchain of a cryptocurrency called Ethereum. Using this network, a contract is made that guarantees the ownership of the work and the royalities to be charged in the future if it is sold.

This is one more step in the evolution of the internet to become an environment in which creators find a safe way to market their works.
