Great company. Inspiring conversation. Delicious food.

Agriculture is sexy. At least once a day someone asks me how they can learn more about the indoor agriculture industry. While there are some online resources and increasingly more events and conferences to attend, no forum exists for the curious to get together in a casual setting and talk about the incredibly interesting things going on in our industry.

So, I’m inviting you all to join me for dinner to talk indoor ag. Each month, I’ll invite a small group of interested and interesting folks over for dinner. Because there is so much happening in the space, conversations will be lightly curated.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Tell me why you want to join here.
  2. I’ll review and invite a group of 6–8 folks who are interested in each month’s topic.
  3. Each guest is asked to bring a dish that can feed 6–8 people. This is the fun part. We’re chatting about food, so bring something that’s special to you. We’ll organize the dishes in a separate email — if everyone brings hummus, it won’t be much of a party!
  4. The exact location of each month’s dinner will be sent via email once you’re a confirmed attendee.
  5. Each dinner will have a topic for launching conversation, though nothing is formal.
  6. At the end of the dinner, I’ll share everyone’s contact information for following up.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have met so many brilliant individuals interested in the indoor agriculture industry over the years. It’s about time we all get to know each other and share our knowledge, experience, and insight. The way to propel this industry forward is to foster collaboration.

Our first dinner will be on Tuesday, November 29th in Brooklyn. The first topic is Breaking Ag: Is the Food System Broken?
