Jon Dayton joins Agrilyst as Chief Technology Officer

We are thrilled to welcome Jon Dayton to the Agrilyst team! Jon brings with him over a decade of experience building cutting-edge applications and growing product teams. Prior to joining Agrilyst, Jon served as the Director of Engineering at Vestorly, a platform combining artificial intelligence and content marketing for the financial services industry.

Agrilyst is changing the way indoor farmers (greenhouses, vertical farms, shipping container farms, etc.) use data on the farm. Our software is being used by more than 100 growers, in 10 countries, on 5 continents to help drive higher profitability. Growers are already seeing 5% higher revenues than their competitors once they start using Agrilyst to analyze operational data.

As we scale in both users and expansion of the product, we were looking for an experienced senior leader to drive this growth. Jon has started a company, worked for global Fortune 500 teams, and built AI applications from the ground up. Jon also received his MBA from Yale. His experience and leadership is exactly what we were looking for and we’re excited to see what we can build for our customers with Jon leading our product team.

Fun fact: after college, Jon was the General Manager at Shadow Mountain Music Group and released Gladys Knight’s Grammy-winnning “One Voice” album.
