Starting today, you’ll be able to use AI to generate images for your Artifact posts. We’ve heard that choosing a cover image can be hard, and we know a great visual can make the difference in catching someone’s eye and telling a great story. This latest AI tool makes it fast and fun to create cover art for your post without having to spend time searching for the perfect image.

To try it out, tap on the “+” icon in the photo frame when creating a new post, and choose “Create with AI.” Simply provide a description or a few keywords, and the AI will create beautiful, eye-catching images that help your posts stand out.

You can experiment with different styles by adding “in the style of” and a genre such as “anime,” “digital art,” “photorealistic,” or “origami.” Here are some examples of what you can create: a bustling urban center when sharing about travel, a natural landscape when discussing climate, or a sleek concept car of the future when posting on the evolution of EVs. You’ll also be able to regenerate the image using the same prompt, revise the prompt, and save your creations to your camera roll.

Read more about how to use the image generation tool in our Artifact post. This new tool is available on the latest versions of iOS and Android. We are excited to see what the Artifact community creates!
