A.I. in Business

Artificial intelligence is still a developing technology that has several uses in the business world today but has a lot more potential for the future. A.I. is very interesting to me and my interest in accounting as simply automation has dramatically decreased the amount of physical work in accounting and I think that artificial intelligence is the next step to increasing its efficiency.I think that other accounting students would benefit from my findings as they will be directly affected by A.I. in the future and business students would also benefit from this as they will be indirectly affected by this. Furthermore, it will help them understand the future of their career and how it might change. A few questions I have about artificial intelligence that I hope will be answered through this project are:

1. What progress in artificial intelligence have we made so far?

2. What potential does artificial intelligence have in the business environment?

3. How is current artificial intelligence used in the business workplace and how effective is it?

These questions interest me because they will help me predict how the future workplace will be affected. They can help predict how artificial intelligence will be first introduced to the workplace, the steps in the adapting it into the workplace, and the future improvements after that. The skill to be adaptable would be very useful in order to prepare for the introduction and use of artificial intelligence in the business workplace. It would help me be able to learn my new responsibilities of my job quickly and successfully. I would be able to learn more about the new role my career has taken in reaction to the roles that artificial intelligence has taken over. To practice and develop this skill, I would change a pattern or something from my life or work to encourage myself to adapt. I would do a task in a different way than I usually do to learn how to perform a specific task in different ways.
