They think their world is the real world

It’s the middle of November, it just stopped raining. Somewhere in Perry street, New York.
There’s a couple living in a flower pot, over a balcony.

They think their world is the real world.

It’s a fairly basic life, they enjoy each other’s company. There’s no hate, there’s no jealousy, no crime.
Each day they wake up and have breakfast together, some eggs, cheese, ham, a glass of milk. They have a small farm.

There’s a forest nearby, they usually go for long walks before dinner.

Everyday, usually at sunset, they sit on a bench.
This bench is on the edge of their flower pot. They see the street of the other world, people walking.

They know, deep inside, their world is not the real world, but they often wonder why couldn’t it be.

Why a world with evil, crime, jealousy, has to be the real world?

Someone says you can’t appreciate light without darkness, but they don’t believe it to be true.

They think their world should be the real world.
