Guidelines for submitting your work & how to join
Hello all. A sincere thank you to our followers, subscribers, contributors, and awesome editorial staff.
We are growing and featuring some incredible art pieces which just blow me away. Please take a look at our amazing works and if you would like to join us and showcase your art please let me know in the comments.
What we publish: paintings, musical compositions, photography, mixed media pieces, writing, and more. We are open to all kinds of artistic expression and creation. However, we do reserve the right to refuse any submissions if they are discriminatory (racially, culturally, religiously, politically, sexually, or otherwise).
We strive to make our submission guidelines as simple as possible. So without further adieu:
- First and foremost make sure you are following the publication itself.
- Be like The Dude and abide by Medium’s rules and regulations. These can be found right here for your perusal.
- Send your work in draft form with a title, subtitle, photo cited accordingly, and five tags. Make sure your tags correspond with your work. #Art for artwork, #photography for photos, #music for music, etc. Always, when linking to videos, make sure to cite the original creator. Tags are important, and editors reserve the right to change tags. If you need some assistance understanding how to format all of this go here for a more detailed breakdown.
- Ensure that your Private Notes are turned on so you can communicate with the editors if need be. You can do this by going to settings > account > scroll till you see the toggle to check that it’s on.
- We would appreciate no more than two submissions sent in per day. We will publish them as soon as possible, but life being what it is sometimes it may take a couple of days. Know we will try to do so as quickly and efficiently as we can, but patience may be needed now and then.
- Guidelines must be followed or your draft submission will be rejected.
