Ch-Ch-Changes!

Just a quick update for the publication

Hello all!

I wanted to inform you guys that our lovely Joanne Olivieri will no longer be on Medium so I will be taking over as owner of the publication. Joanne and I have been on the same page as far as what this publication could be and do for artists wishing to express themselves in a number of ways in addition to writing.

She thought it important to provide a space like that on a site that otherwise seemed devoid of it. I, too, believe in such a vision and am excited to continue keeping this place running (with the help of all the excellent editors of course). I would like to see this place keep growing, and become a home for all the wonderful, wacky, beautiful, and imaginative creations I know many people who already post here have to share.

A newsletter was started and I think it would be a good idea to keep that going as well. What would you like to see in it? Any suggestions on how to better run this ship? Please feel free to leave a comment with your suggestions below, as a publication is only as good as its contributors and artists.

I look forward to helping Artique and seeing what else you all have in store to showcase. I want this to be a space welcome to all who wish to create and are passionate about cultivating an artistic community. Thank you to the followers and creatives already on board and may we only go up from here!

How to submit, what’s expected once you’re a contributor here, and how to be added if you’re not already:

A Tale about a Writer

Mr. Berns, the Soul Gazing Greyhound

A head-on view of a fawn and white greyhound face. Visible in the frame: In the foregound is the left side of his face with his eye staring into your soul. In the background you see the rest of his body behind him.
