The original headline and sub was too, too, too verbose. Plus, for a subject as important as mentoring, it didn’t feel like you were appealing the right way.
Seeking and sustaining mentors is a very personal, sensitive decision. I felt that by invoking big names like Isaac Newton, you make it a bit easier for people to consider the possibility of finding mentors online.
Oh, you should probably present Newton’s quote in a more artistic manner. Here are a few more quotes on mentoring. You could even show them as a carousel.
One last thing — the original button title of “Let’s find a Mentor” expects too much of me. This is why hotel websites invite you to “Check Availability”, not “Book a Room”. It is simply good UX writing practice to not presuppose that a user wants to do an action — like booking a mentor or a room. Ease them into the action you want them to take.
