The origin of this prompt came from , although I came upon it from reading answers from other writer’s. I liked this one so much, I thought I’d join in.

1. When did you start writing? Is there a specific story?

My writing began with love letters in school. The first was to my Grade 3 teacher, Mrs. McDonald; she was beautiful, and very nice. She said it was a very sweet letter.

Thankfully, that evolved to writing girls my age, and, in a time before smartphones, it was pen, paper, and a stamp, then mailing rather than tapping “send.” Some of those letters received very good responses. Some went unanswered, and one was lit on fire in front of me and dropped to my feet.

As for stories, the first story I wrote was a Hungarian folktale for my then-young…
