Dear Medium, Why Can’t We Mute Topics?

Then everyone would be happy

I’m all for everyone being able to write about what they want, but there are some topics I do NOT want to see in my news feed.

I don’t understand why we can’t mute certain topics, and don’t tell me to hit “see less like this,” because it doesn’t work.
