Sad news for North Carolinians

Pilot Mountain in Surry County, N.C. is burning.

The fire report came in on Saturday night, November 27, around 5:15 pm. As of Sunday night, over 300 acres have been burned. The blaze will take several more days to contain, and officials fear that as many as 900 acres will be destroyed.
